Architectural Dialogues
A spatial layout treats the browser window as an architectural interior. Instead of stacked blocks, we introduce vertical columns representing bays, asymmetric margins leaving spaces for resting the eye, and scroll-linked depth panels that slide over each other to mimic moving through chambers.
External CMS systems can introduce latency, extra security concerns, and reliance on remote databases. Aurelio is built on Astro Content Collections, so case studies live as local files and can be deployed as a fast static site without a backend.
Absolutely. The persistent ornaments (Roman arch, halo ring, laurel branch) are rendered using inline vector SVGs in Layout.astro. You can toggle their visibility, change positions, adjust speeds, or replace them entirely inside src/data/theme.ts.
Aurelio employs client-side script mapping. When a client submits the contact form, JavaScript aggregates the text inputs and relocates the window using a pre-populated mailto string. This launches the visitor's default email agent (Apple Mail, Outlook, etc.) with a formatted draft, maintaining absolute database privacy.
